Villa Saranda is a lovely private villa set in the peaceful retreat of Sögüt, about 2 hours from Dalaman airport. The villa enjoys the most picturesque rural hilltop location together with truly stunning views.
The house and its various terraces are not overlooked at all, providing absolute privacy. Your uninterrupted views scan across some local village houses below and then on to the glorious sea beyond as far as the Datça peninsula and the Greek Island of Symi.
The villa is owned by Verda and Ruchan who themselves left a busy city life 30 years ago to pursue a dream. They originally built this villa as their home, beautifully incorporating the existing rocky terrain into the structure of the house.
Verda and Ruchan now live in a home a stone’s throw away from Villa Saranda and are always on hand for any tips and recommendations.
Sögüt itself is a rural hamlet which provides the opportunity for guests to experience real Turkish life.
The local çay (tea) gardens and small selection of restaurants are serving excellent local fare. Beyond, the unspoilt villages of the Bozburun and Datça peninsulas await your exploration.
